(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.50 dated 05.06.2022, registered under Sections 306 and 34 IPC, at Police Station Sadar Pathankot, District Pathankot. Vide order dated 07.07.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Rattan Lal, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

208-A CRM-M-28633-2022 (O&M) -2In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 07.07.2022 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
