RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. praying for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0162, dated 28.07.2021, under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala.

Vide order dated 16.08.2021, the petitioner was directed to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to the order dated 16.08.2021, the petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harpal Singh, endorsed that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further interrogation.
