(Oral) The present petition is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 3 to conduct the proceedings of No Confidence Motion against petitioner for removing her from the post of President, Nagar Panchayat, Ghagga, District Patiala.

Today, a short reply by way of affidavit of Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat Ghagga, District Patiala on behalf of respondent No. 4 has been filed in the Court today. As per reply, a special meeting for considering the No Confidence Motion took place on 13.07.2022 at 11:00 A.M in the office of Nagar Panchayat Ghagga, District Patiala. Out of total 13 elected Municipal Councillors of Nagar Panchayat Ghagga, 12 participated in the meeting along with local M.L.A. CWP-14375-2022 the petitioner did not join the proceedings so as per the Rules, Vice President was made the Chairman of the meeting. The proceedings of the meeting were conducted under the supervision of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Patran who was appointed as an Observer for this special meeting of No Confidence Motion (R-4/A).
