Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to cover the appointment of petitioner under Old Pension Scheme.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding notice of demand dated 14.03.2024 (Annexure P-3). He submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied, if the said notice of demand, is decided by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, to decide notice of demand dated 14.03.2024 (Annexure P-3), expeditiously submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
