(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the prayer which has been made by the petitioners is that they are entitled for the pay scale as being given to the Agriculture Sub Inspectors working in the Soil Conservation and Engineering Department, Punjab. In support of their claim, the petitioners are relying upon the order passed by this Court in CWP No.6223 of 2000 decided on 17.09.2012 (Annexure P-7) as well as the order passed by this Court in CWP No.22834 of 2013 decided on 22.03.2018 (Annexure P-9). Without commenting upon the merits of the case or about the entitlement of the petitioners for the relief which has been claimed by them in the legal notice dated 15.04.2019 (Annexure P-12), the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 15.04.2019 (Annexure P-12) within a period of three months from the receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, it is found that the petitioners are entitled for any monetary benefits after the decision on the legal notice, the same should also be paid to them within three months thereafter.
