Apprehending his arrest in FIR No. 0024 dated 13.01.2026 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471, of IPC [Corresponding sections, 318(4), 336(2), 336(3), 340(2) in Bharat Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, at Police Station Civil Line Sirsa, District Sirsa; the petitioner has preferred this second petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail. 2.

On 14.05.2026, the following order was passed: "Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Additional Superintendent of Police, Sirsa. Same be kept on record. A copy of the same has been furnished to learned assisting counsel for the petitioner.

Reiterating the submissions recorded on behalf of the petitioner in the order dated 30.04.2026, learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is willing to join investigation and cooperate therein as per law. Adjourned to 29.05.2026. Be taken up in the urgent cause list.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 16.05.2026 at 11:00 A.M. in concerned Police Station and join investigation. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bond(s) to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. As and when further called by Investigating Officer, the petitioner shall join the investigation. He shall abide by the condition(s) enumerated under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023."

Learned State counsel (on instructions from ASI Jagpal) has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation.

Keeping in view the factual milieu of the case in hand, especially the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation, the petition is allowed and the order dated 14.05.2026 granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Section 482(2) of BNSS.

This order should not be treated as "blanket" order. It will not be read granting petitioner indefinite protection from arrest. It shall be

P a g e | 3 confined to the FIR mentioned ibid and will not operate in respect of any other incident that involves commission of an offence. 6.

Liberty is reserved in favour of State/complainant to move for cancellation/recall of this order in case the petitioner violates any condition stipulated under Section 482(2) of BNSS or upon showing any other sufficient cause.

Needless to say that anything observed herein above shall not be construed to be an opinion on the merits of the case. 8.
