(Oral) The petitioners pray for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.720/2017 registered under Sections 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and 406 and 506 IPC at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal. Counsel for the petitioners has handed over an amount of Rs.55,000/- in cash to counsel for the complainant, who has further handed over the same, to the complainant, who is present in the Court. Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the entire amount stands paid to the complainant.

Counsel for the complainant, on instructions from the complainant, has submitted that the complainant will have no objection in case the petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise be filed in the Court.
