A reading of paragraph 6 of the petition, which becomes reproduced hereinafter, unveils, that the petitioner's application for his becoming prematurely released from prison, is subjudice, before the authorities concerned.
"6.
That it is pertinent to mention here that after completing the required sentence for premature release of the petitioner, the jail authorities (respondent No. 4) initiated the premature release case of the petitioner and sent the same to District Magistrate, Amritsar (respondent No. 3) and Director General of Police, Jail Department, Punjab, Chandigarh (respondent No. 2) vide letter no. 4674 dated 25.5.2022." 2.
Therefore, the prayer made in the petition, for a mandamus being made, upon the competent authority concerned, to expeditiously GURPREET SINGH 2022.07.08 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
