(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for seeking quashing of FIR No.21 dated: 12.01.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 333, 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station Civil Lines Karnal, District Karnal, Haryana alongwith all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom in view of the amicable settlement arrived between the parties in terms of compromise deed dated 17.04.2026 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that due to inadvertence, State of Punjab has been mentioned in the memo of parties instead of State of Haryana. He thus seeks withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action with better particulars.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
