The petitioner has filed this petition seeking grant of regular bail in a case registered against him vide FIR No.111, dated 2.8.2020, Police Station Bajghera, District Gurugram, under Sections 420, 489-A, 489-B, 34 IPC, wherein the allegations are to the effect that the petitioner was found in possession of fake currency to the tune of `7000/-.

Learned State counsel has informed that the investigation is complete and challan already stands filed.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and while bearing in mind that the amount of the fake currency allegedly recovered from the petitioner is stated to be `7000/- only and while noticing that challan already stands presented and the petitioner has been behind bars since the last more than 2 1⁄2 months, further detention of the petitioner will not serve any useful purpose. The petition, as such, is accepted and the petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
