This revision petition challenges the order dated 12.05.2015 passed by Additional District Judge (Family Court), Ambala allowing the maintenance to respondents No.1 and 2 @ `2000/- and `1,500/- per month respectively.

The ground of challenge by learned counsel for the petitioner is only regarding the quantum of maintenance, alleging that petitioner is posted as Security Guard with Superior Fire and Security Services Private Limited and is getting net salary of `4,996/- per month as per salary certificate (Annexure P-5).

On perusal of the order passed by the Family Court and the SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.06 16:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRR(F)-139-2015 -2documents placed on file, I find no substance in the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner firstly because the salary certificate pertains to January, 2014. Secondly, the total salary of the petitioner mentioned in this salary certificate is `6,934/- which must have increased by now as the minimum wages are periodically reviewed and enhanced as per the price index. Even otherwise, the amount of maintenance of `3,500/- is hardly sufficient for two persons to make both ends meet. Out of his total earning which must be more than `7,000/- at present, the petitioner can spare 50% amount for maintenance of respondents No.1 and 2.

The order passed by the Family Court, Ambala suffers from no infirmity calling for any interference.

This petition has no merits. Dismissed.
