( Oral ) Through advertisement No.3/2013 annexed as Annexure P-1, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (hereinafter referred to as the "University") had invited applications for filling up various posts including 20 posts of Data Entry Operators. The petitioners' candidature qua these posts was not considered which gave them a cause to approach this Court through the present writ petition.

Mr. Ashish Rawal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-University submits that the above-said advertisement qua the post of Data Entry Operators has since been withdrawn by the University and now a fresh advertisement will be issued for filling up these posts. On this basis, it is stated by the learned counsel for the respondent-University that this petition has been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute this fact. Dismissed as infructuous.
