By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the notice dated 27.02.2024, Annexure P-7, issued by respondent No.2, vide which, proceedings under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, has been initiated. 2.

Upon instructions from Shri Arjun Grewal, Tehsildar, SAS Nagar (Mohali), State counsel submits that the Collector, SAS Nagar (Mohali) has passed an order dated 20.06.2024. She has placed a copy of the order, which is taken on record.

Faced with this development, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the said order.
