RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider and take an action upon application dated 16.05.2023, as per law and for further directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent No.3.

It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners would be satisfied if their representation, dated 16.05.2023, Annexure P-3, is decided in a time-bound manner. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Karunesh Kaushal, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, to look into the representation, dated MEENU 2023.06.01 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
