, -./ The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS/Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the grant of concession of Parole to the petitioner under the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 for eight weeks as permissible under the law and a further prayer to direct the respondents No. 2 to 4 to decide the application dated 26.02.2026 seeking parole which is pending consideration.

2  at this stage for issuance of directions to the respondents-authorities to decide the application dated 26.02.2026 seeking parole to the petitioner expeditiously and in a time bound manner.

Learned State Counsel submits that the aforesaid matter is pending consideration before the authorities and the same would be decided within a period of one month.

In view of the position explained, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Moga, District Moga to expeditiously decide the application submitted by the petitioner within a period of one month from today.
