Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus with the allegation that Jyoti, daughter of the petitioner, was illegally detained by private respondent Nos. 5 to 8. 2.

In pursuance to the notice issued, respondent No. 5 has appeared in person alongwith the alleged detenu Jyoti, while PRASHANT KAPOOR 2015.01.15 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP-1606-2014 respondent Nos. 6 to 8 are being represented by Mr. Ashish Pannu, Advocate.

Jyoti states at the bar that she had left the house of her parents with her own sweet will and no one had enticed her from the house of her parents. She further states at the bar that her date of birth is 6.12.1995 and she had solemnized the marriage with respondent No. 5-Baljeet with her free will and consent. She further states that since against the wishes of her parents, she has solemnized the marriage, therefore, they are filing false cases against her and her husband Baljeet. In support of her identity, she has produced the photostate copy of the Aadhaar Card. ASI Raj Kumar of Police Station, City, Narwana, who has come present to assist learned counsel for the State in the present case, also identified Jyoti, the alleged detenu.

In view of the statement suffered by the alleged detenu, Jyoti, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.

Disposed of accordingly.
