The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.197 dated 20.08.2018 registered under Sections 420, 494, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3 (1) (X) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, at Police Station Sohana, District SAS Nagar as well as final report dated 25.11.2019 (Annexure P-8). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the aforesaid FIR along with all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR has since been quashed by this Court in CRM-M-24606-2023 vide order dated 22.08.2023.
