(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5.

Mr. Dhruv Gupta, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No. 4 and 5 and filed his power of attorney through e-mail and the same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 2 is 33 years old lady and her husband is residing in Australia and petitioner No. 1 is her daughter. He further submits that petitioner No. 2 was being illtreated in her matrimonial home and now she is residing in a rented accommodation at Nabha and respondents No. 4 and 5 are her parents, who are insisting her to stay at the matrimonial home instead of the rented GURPREET SINGH 2020.10.13 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh

Learned counsel for respondents No. 4 and 5 submits they are not giving any threats to petitioner No. 2 and she is at liberty to live wherever she wants to and she will be solely responsible for her actions in her life.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the above statement of respondents No. 4 and 5, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
