The Writ Petition is filed praying for grant of furlough to the petitioner under Section 4 of The Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988 for 21 days. 2.
Heard the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioner would contend that the Writ Petitioner has completed continuous sentence of more than three years in prison and, therefore, he is entitled to furlough as per section 4 of the said act. 5.
Inasmuch as the said petition has not been disposed of so far by the jail authorities, a direction is issued to the jail authorities to dispose of the application submitted by the Writ Petitioner seeking grant of furlough within 15 days from the date of disposal of this order. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. (M.
