AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to promote the petitioner w.e.f. 17.05.2014 as LDC when his juniors were promoted and with all consequential benefits.

Mr. Naveen S.Bhardwaj, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that reference of juniors to the petitioner has been given in tabulated form at page 18 of the paper book and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 02.04.2019 (Annexure P-20) but no action has been taken so far. He further submits that petitioner, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the said representation within some specified time. CWP No.15362 of 2019 {2} In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 02.04.2019, (Annexure P-20) by passing a well reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.50,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioner.
