On 29.05.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "By way of this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., petitioner prays for grant of pre-arrest bail in case FIR No.114 dated 15.04.2023 registered under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC, Sections 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act, at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate Amritsar. Allegations are that on 14.04.2023, petitioner and five others started arguments with complainant Prince and his brother Sooraj, during which co-accused Shubham Sharma alias Soobi fired shot from his pistol and the bullet hit the stomach of Sooraj. It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been wrongly implicated; no injury is attributed to him, that the matter has since been compromised vide Annexure P.2 and that complainant Prince and his brother Sooraj have also given their respective affidavits Annexures P.4 and P.7 in this regard. Notice of motion.

Mr. M.S. Nagra, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent- State. Mr. Amritpal S. Sohal, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3 and filed his Power of SARITA RANI 2023.12.13 17:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document/order

CRM-M-27503-2023 - 2 - Attorney. Copy of the petition be supplied to them by learned counsel for the petitioners during course of the day. Adjourned to 09.08.2023 for filing status report and reply, if any, by respondents No.2 and 3.

In the meantime, in case of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/ Investigating Officer. However, it is further directed that the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when so required by the Investigating Officer. He shall not contact any person associated with the case to dissuade him from the investigation in any manner whatsoever and nor shall leave the country without prior permission of the Court. He shall further comply with the conditions stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." As per the status report, the petitioner has joined the investigation, in compliance of the order dated 29.05.2023 and is no longer required for further investigation.

In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 29.05.2023, whereby the petitioner was granted interim anticipatory bail, is hereby made absolute. However, he shall continue to join investigation, if and so required by the Investigating Officer.
