Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, inter alia, for seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondent No.2 - SSP, Amritsar Rural, District Amritsar, to take necessary legal action against respondent Nos. 6 to 11 (private respondents), as mentioned in representation/complaint dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-12) for commission of cognizable offences punishable under Sections 303, 324, 325, 329 & 61 of BNS, 2023 (corresponding Sections 379, 425, 427, 428, 429, 447, 448 & 120-B of IPC) along with Section 3 of the prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to seek recourse to the alternative remedies, as are available to him, under the law. 3.
