NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this first petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 0009 dated 02.08.2019 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 498-A and 120-B IPC at Police Station NRI, District Ludhiana Rural and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on merits.

At the outset, on instructions from ASI Baj Singh, learned counsel for the State submits that the instant petition is not maintainable, as investigation in the present case is still going on and the challan is yet to be presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage, with liberty to again approach this Court at the appropriate stage, if so advised.

Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage, with the liberty aforesaid.
