**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.141 dated 12.08.2020 registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, at Police Station Nehianwala, District Bathinda.
Both the learned counsel for parties are ad idem that parties have resolved their differences by way of amicable settlement. Even parties have also filed petition for quashing of FIR in question on the basis of compromise.
Order dated 28.06.2021 was passed by this Court on the premise that the parties were in the process of resolving their disputes. Petitioner was directed to join the investigation. In view of statements made by learned counsel for the petitioner and complainant, it appears that parties have AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2021.09.06 18:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-27121-2020 amicably settled the dispute. Petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and joined the investigation. Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation of the case.
In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 28.06.2021 is made absolute. Petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands disposed of.
