HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed alleging the threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. As per the allegations alleged in the present petition, private respondents No. 5 and 6 are trying to dispossess the petitioner from the land despite there being a decree in her favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner was called by respondent No.3 to the police station and is being made to sit in the police station without there being any purpose for the same. Notice of motion.
Mr. Sandeep Singh Deol, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that as per his instructions, the petitioner has submitted two representations on 12.08.2020, copy of which has been attached as Annexures P-2 and P-3. CRWP-7004-2020 further submits that application dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) given to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga will be decided in accordance with law wherein, the same grievance, as raised in the present petition, has been raised.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner will be redressed in case, her representation dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) (sent to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga on 21.08.2020 through email) is decided by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga.
Without commenting upon the merits of the case or about the entitlement of the petitioner for the relief which has been claimed by her in the representation dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) (sent to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga on 21.08.2020 through email), the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to decide the representation dated 12.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) within a period of 10 days from from today by passing an appropriate speaking order.
