This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS (482 Cr.P.C.) for setting aside/quashing of Order dated 07.01.2026 (Annexure P5), whereby the bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner were cancelled and forfeited, and non-bailable warrants were issued against him and further for quashing subsequent Order dated 17.03.2026 (Annexure P-6), whereby proclamation u/s 84 of BNSS, been issued against the petitioner, passed by the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Sri Muktsar Sahib in case NDPS/157/2024 titled as 'State of Punjab Vs Sukhpal Singh and others,' in case FIR no. 0089 dated 07.06.2022 U/s 21(a) NDPS Act (section 27, 29 of NDPS Act added lateron) registered at PS Gidderbaha, District Sahib Sri Muktsar (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in judicial custody in FIR No. 471 dated 11.11.2025, registered at Police Station Hanumangarh, Rajasthan and therefore, he could not appear before the learned trial Court on 07.01.2026 and 17.03.2026. CRM-M-24302-2026 (O&M) and non-bailable warrants were issued against the petitioner vide order dated 07.01.2026 (Annexure P-5) and proclamation u/s 84 of BNSS has been issued against the petitioner vide order dated 17.03.2026 (Annexure P-6). Learned counsel for the petitioner further prays that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings before the Court and prays that the impugned orders be set aside.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Parneet Singh Pandher, A.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

I have heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case file. 6.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, this Court does not find any legitimate ground to interfere in the impugned orders dated 07.01.2026 and 17.03.2026 passed by learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Sri Muktsar Sahib. However, in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within next 07 working days from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the same shall be considered and decided by the Court concerned within a perid of three days.

The petition stands disposed of.
