Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioners for promotion to the post of Sub Divisional Officers after taking into consideration the date of their initial appointment on ad hoc basis. 2.

Upon notice, reply on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3 stands filed.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioners, submits that their substantial grievance has been redressed; thus the present petition be disposed off with liberty to raise their grievance before the authorities regarding ancillary reliefs.

Ordered accordingly.

In case petitioners make request within four weeks from today, same shall be considered in accordance with law by passing reasoned order within next eight weeks.
