R.P. NAGRATH, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran and the same be taken on record.

Learned State counsel submits that as per reply Gurmeet Singh was not detained at the police station. In fact there was the property dispute amongst the brothers and one of the brother of Gurmeet Singh is the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner was associated in the enquiry and he has also stated that panchayat has settled the dispute. The enquiry report made by the Deputy Superintendent of Police is Annexure R-1.
