(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of Mandamus for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners who apprehend threat at the hands of respondent No.4. 2.

A reply dated 23.07.2024 by way of an affidavit of Kuldeep Singh, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Guhla, has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State by the learned counsel for the State. The same is taken on record.

Learned State counsel while referring to Paragraph No.4 of reply submits that petitioners were not summoned for joining the investigation and no incriminating material had come on record against the petitioners, therefore, present petition is infructuous. Paragraph No.4 of reply is reproduced as under :

That during investigations both the petitioners were summoned for joining the investigation as their names have appeared in the disclosure statement of co-accused Mahender. However, on further investigation, no KAVITA NAIN 2024.07.23 16:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document order/judgment

Be that as it may, this Court has gone through the reply filed by the State and has noticed that due attention and care has been given to the grouse of the petitioners.

Thus, in view of the submissions made hereinabove, present petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
