(ORAL ) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.230 dated 12.08.2020, under Sections 304-B, 498-A, 406 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur, Punjab. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that in the present case the petitioners have been falsely implicated. Petitioner No.1 is the sister-in-law and petitioner No.2 is the brother-in-law of the complainant.

CRM-M-27116-2020 (O&M) A perusal of the FIR would show that there are no specific allegations made against the petitioner. On 10.9.2020, this Court had granted interim protection to the petitioners and they were directed to join investigation and cooperate with the investigation process.

Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Rajni Bala, submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid orders both the petitioners have joined investigation and have fully cooperated with the investigation process. It is further stated, on instructions, that they are no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of above, the present petition is allowed. Interim order dated 10.9.2020, is hereby made absolute. December 07, 2020.
