No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Even on 1.2.2016 and 14.12.2015, no one had appeared for the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner falls in the category of hardcore criminal and he has not yet completed the substantive sentence of five years and, as such, he cannot be extended the benefit of parole. In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the State, the present petition is dismissed.
