A written complaint dated 20.07.2015 sent by Sukhdev Singh to this Court which was treated as criminal writ petition on judicial side. It has been stated in the petition that his grandsons, namely, Manjinder Singh and Davinder Singh were taken away illegally by the police. Notice of motion was issued on 07.08.2015.

In response thereto, reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Mehal Kalan has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record.

Learned State counsel, on the basis of reply, submits that Manjinder Singh and Davinder Singh(alleged detenues) were never illegally detained by the police and they are neither required in connection with any case nor any enquiry is pending against them.

In view of stand taken in the reply, there is no merit in the present petition and the same being devoid of any merit is hereby dismissed. (DAYA CHAUDHARY) August 31, 2015 JUDGE sonia g.
