(Oral) Petitioner-Kuldip Kaur resident of Amritsar along with her grand son and grand daughter who are both residents of Gurdaspur have approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to official respondents not to harass them at the instance of respondent No.4 who is daughter in law of petitioner No.1 and is a resident of Karnal and with whom some litigation is pending i.e. between petitioner No.1 and respondent No.4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners apprehend threat to their lives and liberty and in fact respondent No.4 has been openly threatening to eliminate the petitioners and to forcibly occupy MOHAN SINGH 2021.08.13 18:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-32817-2021 (O&M) her residential house. It is further submitted that on 16.7.2021 at about 8 pm. respondent No.4 along with 4/5 unidentified persons had forcibly entered into the house of the petitioner and had given beatings to her and also to petitioner No.3.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Karnal to dispose of representation dated 2.8.2021 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law as regards the alleged threat perception of the petitioners. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 2.8.2021 (Annexure P-3) be sent to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Karnal for necessary compliance.
