BHARDWAJ, J (ORAL) Challenge is laid to award dated 20.07.2021 passed by the Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat-cum-Public Utility Services, ADR Centre Sirsa, District Sirsa whereby application filed by the petitioner has been dismissed for want of jurisdiction.

Learned counsel representing the petitioner does not press this petition, at this stage, so as to take recourse to the alternative efficacious remedy, in accordance with law under the provisions of ESI Act, 1948. The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is not disputed by learned counsel opposite.

In these circumstances, present petition is disposed of as not pressed, at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Forum/Court having jurisdiction and raise all the pleas as available to him on the said cause of action.

The period during which the present petition remained pending before this court shall be taken into consideration while computing the period of limitation.
