Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to issue seniority list and consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant. At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the legal notice 22.07.2020 (P-7) is decided expeditiously.
