(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that no formal order of the rejection has been passed by the competent authority. The prayer for re-issuance of the passport is on the ground that the original passport was taken away by the agent and the same was misappropriated by him. In this regard, FIR No.227 dated 06.05.2020 registered under Sections 10, 24 of the Immigration Act and Sections 406, 420 IPC at Police Station Pehowa has been registered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation in this regard has already been made by the petitioner to respondents No.2 and 3, but the authorities have not adverted to the genuine prayer of the petitioner. At this stage, Ms. Amrita Singh, Advocate appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation filed by the petitioner shall be considered and decided by the respondents No.2 and 3 in accordance with law preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
