(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for the post of Assistant Engineer as legible for promotion or otherwise consider the petitioner under sealed cover procedure to protect the seniority of the petitioner for the post of Assistant Engineer. Further prayer has been made to consider/decide the legal representation dated 15.03.2024 (Annexure P-10). Further a writ of certiorari has been sought for quashing the impugned list dated 11.03.2024 (Annexure P-9) and Clause 5 of Annexure P-9, dated 11.03.2024. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition, at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage.
