(Oral) By this petition the petitioner had challenged the action of the respondents in having chargesheeted him in 2009 but having not taken any action subsequent thereto and keeping him under suspension for a long period of about 4 years. In the written statement it was mentioned that after the regular inquiry it was found that the charges against the petitioner were not established and consequently those charges were dropped. It has been further mentioned that the petitioner has been reinstated and that all consequential claims would now be considered. This written statement was filed almost two years ago. CWP No. 11810 of 2013 consequential benefits have not been granted. In the circumstances this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for the consequential benefits of promotion and ACP and to grant him all the benefits including the monetary benefits, in case he is found entitled for the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, failing which the petitioner would be entitled to claim any due monetary benefits with interest at the rate of 8% p.a. from the date/s the amount/s fell due till the date of payment.
