ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 to 4 to protect her life and liberty and her daughter. Respondents No.5 to 8, allegedly may even kill them only to take the possession of property in which they are residing. Further prayer has been made to direct respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 18.08.2020 submitted by the petitioner contained at Annexure P-7. Petitioner is stated to be a widow whose husband had committed suicide on 19.01.2006 in unfortunate circumstances.

Perusal of the record reflects that there are/were some civil disputes also between the parties. Accordingly, no interference is called for under extra ordinary jurisdiction of this court. The petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek her alternative remedies, as may be available, in accordance with law.

It is, however, made clear that disposal of the petition shall not be construed by the official respondents to overlook the representation dated 18.08.2020 contained at Annexure P-4 submitted by the petitioner with regard to her threat perception, if any, qua the private respondents. Disposed of accordingly.
