(ORAL) The only prayer made by learned senior counsel for the petitioner is for a direction to respondent No. 1 - Union of India to take a decision on the clarification sought by the Government of Haryana vide its communication dated 10.02.2022 (Annexure P-3) in respect of proviso to Section 14(1)(b)(iii) of the Wakf Act, 1995.
Mr. Satya Pal Jain, learned Additional Solicitor General of India, on advance copy, submits that the matter is under consideration of the respondent No. 1 and a decision/clarification in that regard would be taken/issued by the authorities as expeditiously as possible.
