RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the official respondents to take action against respondents No.5 to 10 for illegally discharging waste in the Canal/Sua falling in village Ramdiwali Hinduan, Tehsil Majitha, District Amritsar.
Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of additional affidavit of Sh.Mahesh Singh, Divisional Canal Officer, Upper Bari Doab Canal (UBDC), Majitha Division U.B.D.C. Amritsar, on behalf of respondents No.1, 3 and 4. The same is taken on record. He has drawn attention of this Court to the submissions made in para No.7 of the affidavit wherein it has been submitted that the pipeline has been installed by the concerned Department and that no dirty water is thrown into the watercourse. It is further submitted that grievances raised by the petitioner has already been redressed and thus, the present petition is rendered infructuous.

CWP-14264-2020 -2In view of the submissions made in the affidavit, the present petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, petitioner would be at liberty to pursue his remedy in case any further cause of action accrues to him.
