The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, prohibiting the respondents from dispensing with the service of the petitioner and replacing him with another temporary arrangement; to restrain them from reducing the salary of the petitioner or from making any deduction from the same and to continue to pay the petitioner the amount of salary along with accrued increments and benefits during the pendency of the present writ petition. 3.

On receipt of advance copy, learned State counsel submits that since the petitioner is an employee of the outsourced agency, namely Grey Falcon Facility Service, Ludhiana-respondent No.3, and writ petition against the service providers is not maintainable in view of VINAY 2026.04.30 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-13107-2026 -2the law laid down by a Division Bench of this Court in Nishan Singh and others v. State of Punjab and others : 2014(1) SCT 33, which has been followed by this Court in CWP-15531-2024 titled as 'Pardeep v. State of Haryana and others', decided on 10.07.2024. 4.
