*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The learned State counsel states that the report in the departmental inquiry is in favour of the petitioner and not against him. The petitioner assails the correctness of the order passed on 03.08.2021, transferring him from Sri Muktsar Sahib to Pathankot for a period of 5 years.

Learned State counsel states that when the report has been submitted in favour of the petitioner, the competent authority shall take a decision within a month, from that submission. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the competent authority to decide the matter within a month, from today.
