The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.202 dated 22.07.2018 at Police Station City, Sangrur, District Sangrur, under Section 420 IPC and Section 4 of Prize Chit and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act, 1978 (Section 120-B IPC added later on). 2.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 12.08.2021, the following order was passed:

"Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she is nowhere named in the FIR and has been nominated as an accused after about 2 years of lodging of the FIR simply in order to pressurize her husband, who is nominated specifically in the FIR. Learned counsel further submits that as per the case of the prosecution, the petitioner's husband namely Balwinder Singh was friend of one Harish Kumar Tuteja and that on the asking of said Harish Kumar, the complainant became a member of the scheme being run by the petitioner's husband Balwinder Singh and started depositing Rs.1250/- per month in a chit fund type scheme. CRM-M-32447-2021 alleged that after collecting huge amount from innocent persons, somewhere to the tune of Rs.13 lakhs, the said persons, who were running the chit fund scheme, vanished. It has been submitted that there is nothing on record to show that the petitioner had any role to play in the said scheme and is now being falsely implicated on the allegation that she had also induced innocent persons and that she happens to be Director of the company i.e. '4T Electronics Private Limited Malwa Trading Company' alongwith her husband. Notice of motion for 09.12.2021.

Learned State counsel upon instructions has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioner has since joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation. 4.

Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein the petitioner is stated to have joined investigation, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 12.08.2021 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
