The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'In view of submissions made above it is most humbly and respectfully prayed Under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 that the reinvestigation of the case FIR No. 1046, dated 28.12.2018, Under Sections 307, 323, 34, 379B, 427 & 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, relating to Police Station Assandh, District Karnal. Haryana may kindly be referred to C.B.I. for reinvestigation of the case in the interest of justice.' 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition in hand as recording of evidence has since began before the concerned trial Court.
