This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of detenue Suresh from the illegal custody of respondent No.3 and for appointment of Warrant Officer. Warrant Officer was appointed in this case with a direction to visit the place where detenue Suresh Kumar was alleged to be detained illegally and get him released if found in illegal custody.
As per report submitted by the Warrant Officer, he along with petitioner and her husband visited Police Station Ganaur, District Sonepat on 13.10.2015 at about 11:15 p.m. But detenue Suresh Kumar was not found there. Thereafter, on the satisfaction of the petitioner, the Warrant Officer returned back to Chandigarh. In view of the report, no further action is required to be taken by this Court.
