The Writ Petitioner, who is the convict in a case of murder moves this Writ Petition praying for grant of 4 weeks' parole to the petitioner to organize the marriage of his daughter fixed on 25.1.2015.

Heard the submissions made on either side.

Annexure P-3 would go to establish that the convict has submitted an application before the Superintendent, District Jail, PARVINDER SINGH 2015.01.16 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRWP No. 15 of 2015 Roopnagar as on 28.12.2014 praying for grant of parole to organize his daughter's marriage proposed to be held on 25.1.2015. The learned State counsel on instructions from HC Surinder Singh would submit that the marriage of the convict is proposed to be solemnized, as contended by the convict, on 25.1.2015.

In view of the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the application dated 28.12.2014 submitted by the Writ Petitioner/convict, on or before 21.1.2015. The Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of. A copy of this order be given under the signatures of Special Secretary of this Court.
