(ORAL) By way of this petition, the petitioners have sought the indulgence of this Court for issuance of a direction to respondent No.3 to comply with the mandatory provisions of Sections 160/41-A Cr.P.C by issuing notice to them in advance and they have also prayed for directing respondent No.2 to decide the representation Annexure P-3 wherein they have made a similar prayer, in a time bound manner. Mr. Sandeep Singh Deol, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, has appeared on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 in this case in pursuance of the copies of the present petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance and he submits that respondent No.3 would comply with the above-said provisions as and when there would be any occasion for calling the petitioners in connection with the complaint moved by respondent No.

4-Harbans Kaur against their daughter. In view of the above-discussed submission as made by learned State counsel, it becomes explicit that the cause of action to pursue this petition further, does not survive any more in favour of the petitioners. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands disposed of accordingly. 11.07.2022.
