Mr. Akshay Jindal, Advocate for the respondent No.1. ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, states that he does not wish to press the present petition on merits. He, however, states that the petitioner may be granted a period of two years to vacate the premises in question. The petitioner is willing to pay the mesne profits as assessed by the Appellate Authority @ Rs.12000/- per month till such time as he vacates.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1, on instructions from Ashish Jain son of respondent no.1-landlady, who is present in Court, states that he is willing to grant one years' time to the petitioner-tenant to vacate the premises in question subject to the payment of Rs.12000/- per month, which has been assessed as mesne profits by the Appellate Authority. In view of the above, this Court deems it fit to grant time upto 31.12.2023 to the petitioner-tenant to hand over vacant possession of the premises in dispute to respondent no.1-landlady. It is made clear that the petitioner-tenant shall pay an amount of Rs.12000/- to respondent no.1landlady by the 7th of every month. CR No.2620 of 2022 (O&M) -2petition shall be deemed to be dismissed and the respondent no.1-landlady would be at liberty to file an execution of the order passed by the Appellate Authority without any further reference to this Court. An undertaking by the petitioner-tenant be given in the above terms before the Rent Controller on or before 21.07.2022. Disposed off in the above terms. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
