The petitioner apprehending arrest in the complaint captioned above has come up before this Court under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, [BNSS], seeking anticipatory bail.

Vide order dated 22.05.2025, the petitioner was granted interim bail, which continues till date.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to order dated 22.05.2025, petitioner had joined the proceedings and appeared before the trial Court and he undertakes to continue to appear on each and every date without a single default unless there are exceptional circumstances.

The State's counsel opposes bail on instructions. 5.
The petitioner was granted interim bail subject to joining proceedings before the trial Court and he joined proceedings before the trial Court in terms of order dated 22.05.2025. Given the above, there would be no justification to discontinue the interim protection, which is made absolute.
